Anupalem is a village, situated in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Anupalem is near Piduguralla and Sattenapalli. It is famous for its Sankrantri celebrations, which is the most celebrated festival in village. The temple "Mutyalamma Temple" is located on uplift. The hill is pronounced locally as "Botu". Village will be filled with devotes in the morning of Makara-Sankrantri, to worship Goddess. And by dawn falls cultural rituals begins.
This village was originally known as Kubadpuram but the people moved their homes to south of the village and renamed it Anupalem. In government records, however, it is still referred to as Kubadpuram post.
Transport
Anupalem can be reached by bus from Guntur, Narasaraopet or Piduguralla. After reaching the town, the temple can be reached by foot. A Motor-Tricycle can be picked up in Piduguralla, allowing access into Annapulem as well.
